A grand parade will kick off the festivities with a children’s parade to lead the way for the City of Bellaire’s Fourth of July celebration. The theme this year will be Stars & Stripes. The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a festival from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Bellaire Town Square, behind City Hall.

Children are encouraged to decorate their trikes, bikes and wagons and walk in the Children’s Parade that leads the big parade. Participants gather in the parking lot in front of CNB Bank, 5123 Bellaire Blvd, at 9 a.m.

The festival will include carnival games, a petting zoo, dunking booth, rock wall, inflatables and more. Food will be sold by local vendors and civic groups, with entertainment provided by Johnny Dyson’s Band and Ezra Charles and the Works. Admission into the festival is free, carnival games and food are an additional cost.
