Mayor Cindy Siegel tonight will urge Bellaire residents to “Stay Fire Smart” when she proclaims Oct. 4-10 as Fire Prevention Week.

The announcement is meant to recognize the Bellaire Fire Department, encourage residents to protect their homes and families from fire, and promote the 2009 Fire Prevention Week theme, “Stay Fire Smart! Don’t Get Burned.”
