City Seeks Resident Feedback On New School Construction

The Bellaire City Council is inviting residents to a special session tonight to provide feedback on a request by a Bellaire church to build and operate a new day school.

Faith Lutheran Church and Faith Lutheran Day School wants to construct a two-story facility on a vacant lot at 4601 Cedar St., just north of the church’s current location.

Monday’s public hearing starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall and will include a presentation by the architect working with the church, questions from city council members, and an opportunity for residents to provide their opinions.

Residents may also give written comments to City Clerk Tracy Dutton before Oct. 15.
