Hundreds of people turned out this Saturday to pour over tables and tables of books on sale for the library’s fall fundraiser. The Friends of the Bellaire Library hosted the event, which raised about $4,600 for new books and library programs. Friends member Jane McNeel said she estimates that people bought 2,000 hardbacks and 5,000 paperbacks. Click photos to enlarge.
