There is a slight chance that the H1N1 flu vaccine will be available tomorrow night at the Horn Academy during its annual fundraiser, the Spaghetti Supper Night.
The regular seasonal shot and flu mist will definitely be there for $20 per shot and $30 per mist dose. But no one guarantees the H1N1 vaccine will be there because it depends upon available supplies.
“I would imagine that if he has it, our parents will be in line right at the beginning and it will run out,” said Horn PTO spokeswoman Margaret Slutz. “There is usually a long line for the vaccine.”
The Spaghetti Supper fundraiser runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and it will include a meal, and sales of homemade baked treats and other special food items like jams, sauces and rubs. Tickets are $10 per person. The funds benefit the Horn PTO’s projects and programs.
