Police Search For Suspects In Radio Shack Robbery

Police are looking for two suspects who helped steal three cell phones and an MP3 player in a robbery at the Radio Shack in Bellaire last week. Bellaire Police arrested and charged a third man in the case.

Around 5:50 p.m. on Dec. 9, three men entered the store in the 4800 block of Bissonnet Street and asked to see the electronics. They then took the items and ran out of the store into a waiting black Ford Expedition with the Texas license plate number T94-KGC. None of the suspects carried weapons.

One of the men got out of the SUV and assaulted a person who was jotting down the license plate number. The assault victim was the one who called police.

Police located and arrested one suspect, 24-year-old Keith Allen Roberts, who has been charged with robbery. They are still searching for the two other suspects.

One is an 18-to-25-year-old black man who is described as thin and 6-feet tall who is clean shaven with a low hair cut. He wore baggy jeans and a black coat with red lining on the inside. The other suspect is also a black man of about the same age, described as 5-foot-9-inches and clean shaven. He wore baggy jeans and a black baseball cap.
