New Warnings Posted At Bellaire’s Borders

A crew with Bellaire’s Public Works Department battled the weather today to install “No Texting While Driving” signs at the city’s borders. Foreman Terrence Woods said the crew planned to install 21 signs at Bellaire’s major entrance streets like South Rice Avenue, Bissonnet Street and along the Loop 610 frontage road. The Bellaire City Council on Dec. 8 voted to make texting while driving illegal within the city limits.
