The Weekley Family YMCA recently took parents and kids from the Houston area on a skiing and snowboarding adventure in Winter Park, Colorado. The Feb. 12 to 15 trip was part of the Adventure Guides program, which seeks to foster the relationship between parents and children. A surfing trip in July will finish this year’s program, but registration for the 2010 to 2011 Adventure Guides season begins in August.
Parents and kids went to Colorado last week as part of the Weekley YMCA Adventure Guide Program.

The Adventure Guides program at the Weekley YMCA is a very well run program, and provides great activities that foster parent/child interaction. In particular, it’s a terrific program for Dads and Daughters.
