Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a Bellaire resident at gunpoint last week, forcing him to drive to an ATM after stealing his money and wallet.
A resident of the 4900 block of Cedar Street called police around 12:40 a.m. on March 4 and reported he had been robbed. After forcing the resident to drive to an ATM to withdraw more money, the suspect rode back to Cedar Street and left the victim unharmed.
Police couldn’t locate the suspect, but they are still investigating the incident. The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1 tall, approximately 230 to 260 lbs, wearing all black with a black leather jacket with a hood. He wore a cap and mask over his mouth and nose.
