Supporters of Horn Elementary have about a month left to register for an upcoming fundraiser that involves swinging clubs, golf balls, food, a silent auction and more.
The Dad’s Club of Horn Academy will host its annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on April 16. Golfers must register for $100 by April 6. The event involves golfers of all skill levels playing a round of golf at Southwyck Golf Course. The registration fee includes the golf game and cart, range balls, lunch and door prizes. The Dad’s Club is also organizing a silent auction.
Sign-in begins at 6:45 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Hole sponsorship opportunities are also available. Money raised supports the Horn PTO in preparation for the construction of the new school, which recently cleared a hurdle when the Bellaire Planning and Zoning Commission gave site plans the thumbs up earlier this week.
