Bellaire Police Make Arrests For Altered Registration, Fictitious Inspection

Bellaire police arrested a 24-year-old Houston resident on July 10 for displaying an altered registration sticker.

Moises Coreas-Soriano was pulled over in the 5900 block of West Service Road for an expired registration sticker of 05/10 and unconfirmed insurance, police said.

During the traffic stop Coreas-Soriano was found to have an altered registration sticker on his vehicle and was arrested for the offense, police said.

On July 10, David Aguilar, a 23-year-old Houston resident, was arrested and charged with a fictitious motor vehicle inspection, police said.

Aguilar was pulled over in the 6800 block of S. Rice for expired insurance and a defective brake light, police said.

During the traffic stop, Aguilar was found to be displaying a counterfeit inspection sticker, police said.

On July 9, Chris Matthews, a 29-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for driving while license suspended, police said.

Matthews was pulled over in the 7100 block of IH 610 northbound for a defective head light, police said.

During the traffic stop, the officer found his Texas driver’s license to be suspended because of a drug offense and suspension mandatory conviction, police said.
