Bellaire Residents Build Lemonade Stand To Benefit Christian Foundation For Children And Aging

Bellaire residents Amaris Salgado, Natalia Salgado and Julián Salgado built a lemonade stand, which they sold in Loftin Park to benefit the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.

The idea came about when Amaris, 8, saw someone asking for money to buy something to eat. She wanted to know why the person did not have money or food to eat.

Amaris recruited her sister Natalia, 10, and brother, Julián, 10, to help build the lemonade stand.

The Salgado’s sold lemonade, water bottles and homemade cookies in Loftin Park on July 17.

They made $24. 25 and plan on doing it again.

  1. Thanks for telling us about the service above self efforts of the Salgado children. They deserved to be recognized for their great hearts and follow through in contributing to the change they want to see.
