A home was broken into in the 5300 block of Pocahontas while the homeowners were out of town.
The homeowners came back from being out of town on Aug. 23 and found that someone had forced entry through a window at the rear of the house.
The unknown suspect stole cash from one of the dresser drawers in the bedroom, police said.
This incident is under investigation.
On Aug. 24, police received a call about a suspicious person running toward Second Street from a residence in the 4800 block of Linden.
Police checked the area and found that the front door of a residence in the 4800 block of Willow Street had been forced open.
The unknown suspect left a pillow case containing jewelry at the back door, police said.
On Aug. 28, an unknown suspect broke into a house that is under construction in the 4400 block of Effie and stole several construction materials.
