Huffman Announces State Senate Re-Election Bid
State Sen. Joan Huffman (R-Southside Place) on Wednesday announced she is seeking re-election for Senate District 17, which includes Bellaire.
Huffman won the seat following a hard-fought campaign against former congressman Chris Bell to replace long-time legislator Kyle Janek, who resigned to move to Austin.
