St. Agnes Student Will Play Basketball At UT-Austin

Chelsea Bass, a senior at St. Agnes Academy, signed a letter of intent this week promising she will play basketball at the University of Texas at Austin. Bass has been instrumental in the success of her team during her four years playing at St. Agnes. With her full scholarship to UT-Austin, she thinks she may study pre-law and said she hopes to form a career having something to do with sports, possibly as a sports attorney.

Strake Jesuit Lacrosse Player Signs To Bucknell University

Lacrosse player Tyler McLamb of Strake Jesuit on Nov. 11 signed a letter of intent to play at Bucknell University. McLamb has played lacrosse at the high school for three years and the team made it to the state semifinals this year. McLamb also plays football at Strake Jesuit, and he was a former player in West University Place Little League and the Southwest Football League.
